Morris Claiborne is among the inactive players for the Dallas Cowboys tonight.

Claiborne has been dealing with a hamstring injury, and was doubtful to play going into the Jets game. Now it’s official, as Claiborne will miss his third game this season. He missed two games last month with a hamstring injury.

Rookie Byron Jones is expected to take Claiborne’s spot. Jones started at corner when Claiborne missed the two games last month, and has said he feels comfortable playing either cornerback or safety.

The other notable inactive player is receiver Devin Street. Street, a second-year pro, has been active for every game in his professional career until tonight. But the Cowboys are going with Brice Butler as their fifth receiver.

Street has been a limited threat in the offense with six receptions for 103 yards over 12 games. Butler, though, has shown promise when healthy. He has more receiving yards (108) than Street in just four games.

Butler has been slowed this season with a hamstring injury, but has been full-go at practice in recent weeks.

Linebacker Rolando McClain (concussion) is also inactive, and will be replaced by Anthony Hitchens. Other inactives include offensive linemen Ronald Leary and Chaz Green; reserve tight end Geoff Swaim; and quarterback Tony Romo.
