Morris Claiborne expects to return to the lineup for the Cowboys’ Monday night game against the Washington Redskins.
“I feel like if this game would have been this Sunday, I would have been able to play,” Claiborne said Thursday. “But just because it was a short week, it was better for us to be safe.”
Claibrone injured his right hamstring during the Nov. 15 game against the Bucs, leaving after 23 plays. He sat out the Miami game and Thursday’s game against the Panthers.
“It was very frustrating, especially when you’re out there, and you have no part of doing nothing,” said Claiborne, who has 36 tackles and eight passes defensed. “I guess it is what it is.”
