Cowboys kicker Dan Bailey hit two field goals Thursday, giving him 603 points for his career. Only running back Emmitt Smith (986) and kicker Rafael Septien (874) have scored more points in team history.

“To be honest with you, I didn’t even know that’s where we were,” Bailey said. “I’m not trying to play dumb; I didn’t know. They came up to me after the game and handed me the ball, and they explained it to me.

“I’d like to play another 10 to 15 years. You always have to be aware of where you are, and any time you can get in the company of guys like Emmett and Septien, those are great names in this organization’s history, so you have to be aware of that. But you still have to stay focused on the task at hand and stay in the present and go out there and execute.”
