Cowboys will wear mostly white for Thanksgiving game against Panthers

It’s not exactly a whiteout, but it’ll be close.

The Dallas Cowboys will be wearing mostly white uniforms Thanksgiving Day as part of the NFL and Nike Color Rush campaign.

I like the uniforms, they look good. I thought they were good and hopefully the fans will enjoy that.

The white jersey will have a navy star and navy on each shoulder. The front and back numbers and lettering will be navy. The pants will be all white with a navy stripe down the side.

Tight end Jason Witten and wide receiver Dez Bryant have posed in the uniforms.

“I like the uniforms, they look good. I thought they were good and hopefully the fans will enjoy that,” Witten said Friday.

The Cowboys host Carolina, which will counter with mostly all-blue uniforms for the game. It will be the first time in Panthers history the team will wear blue pants.

The Color Rush campaign began two weeks ago with the Buffalo-New York Jets game (all red vs. all green), but drew criticism because it bothered color-blind fans watching on TV.

The Cowboys play at Miami on Sunday. They return home for their annual Thanksgiving game at AT&T Stadium against the Panthers. Kickoff on Thanksgiving is 3:30 p.m.
