The Cowboys added running back Darren McFadden to the injury report with a groin injury. They listed him as limited in Thursday’s practice.

McFadden has played all nine games so far and played all 16 games for Oakland last season, but he has an injury history. He missed 29 games with 15 different injuries in his first six seasons.

Dez Bryant returned to practice, though the Cowboys listed him as limited. The team continues to take a cautious approach with the star receiver after he missed five weeks with a fractured right foot and then injured his knee on a touchdown catch against the Eagles in Week 9.

Receiver Brice Butler (hamstring) and safety Barry Church (ankle) also returned on a limited basis after missing Wednesday.

The status of the other 11 players on the injury report did not change from Wednesday. That includes cornerback Morris Claiborne, who missed practice while continuing to rehab from a right hamstring injury.
