QB Tony Romo inspires Dallas Cowboys with ‘win them all’ tweet
While the rest of the world is caught with all the distractions surrounding the Dallas Cowboys (2-7) amid their 7-game losing streak and last-place standing in the NFC East, quarterback Tony Romo is sending a different message.
He put an exclamation point on his return by putting the emphasis back on the field with a simple but uplifting tweet.
— Tony Romo (@tonyromo) November 17, 2015Romo tweeted a clip from the baseball movie Major League where the lead character told his manager and his deflated team that there was only thing left to do, “win them all.”
If the Cowboys have a chance to salvage their season and make a playoff run, they will need to win them all or come close to it. They have hope because they remain just 2 1/2 games out of first place in the mediocre NFC East.
They also have hope because Romo is back and ready to go for Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins after missing the past seven games with a fractured collarbone.
Amid talk of controversies and distractions involving Dez Bryant and Greg Hardy, Romo upped the ante on Twitter to the delight of Cowboys fans every with his ‘win them all’ tweet.
