DeMarco Murray undergoes X-rays on hand, says he’ll be “all right”
DeMarco Murray had to undergo X-rays on his hand after Sunday night’s win.
Murray, the league’s leading rusher, expressed little concern with the injury after the game.
Asked how his hand felt, Murray replied: “Good, good.
“I’ll be all right.”
Murray has been injury prone throughout his career, dating back to his college days at Oklahoma and has never played a full 16-game season in his four-year NFL career.
Coach Jason Garrett said Murray injured his hand late in the game.
Murray finished the game with 81 rushing yards on 31 carries, averaging a season-low 2.6 yards a carry. It marked only the third game that Murray did not reach the 100-yard mark.
The Eagles held Murray to a season-low 73 yards in the first meeting on Thanksgiving.
“They’re a good defense,” Murray said. “I thought we ran it well at times.”
