Cowboys fan Shaquille O’Neal says he’ll wear cheerleader outfit if team doesn’t make playoffs
It’s no secret that Dallas Cowboys fans can be found practically everywhere.
The latest public declaration is from former NBA great Shaquille O’Neal.
O’Neal appeared on the Rich Eisen Show and said if the Cowboys don’t make the playoffs, he will come on the show with a “Dallas Cowgirl suit” with some pom-poms for 10 seconds.
He also guaranteed the team would win one of their next two games without injured quarterback Tony Romo.
The Cowboys (2-5) host Philadelphia Sunday and visit Tampa Bay Nov. 15.
“Of course, I will come. I will walk out for 10 seconds and everybody take pictures and make fun and then I'm going to leave. Ten seconds. That's all you get. Not 11 seconds. Not 12. You get 10 seconds,” Shaq told Eisen. “I'm going to put on the skirt, the pom-poms, and a brown pony-tail wig.”
O’Neal has ties to Texas. He graduated from San Antonio Cole High School and led the basketball team to the 1989 Class 3A state championship.
