Which former Dallas Cowboy is next for the Hall of Fame?

Former Dallas Cowboys fullback Daryl Johnston, offensive lineman Nate Newton, defensive end Charles Haley, cornerback Everson Walls, safety Darren Woodson and coach Jimmy Johnson are among more than 100 modern-era nominees for the Pro Football Hall of Fame Class of 2015.

Haley has been a finalist five times.

Quarterback Kurt Warner, linebacker Junior Seau, wide receivers Isaac Bruce and Torry Holt, tackle Orlando Pace, and kicker Jason Elam are among 15 first-year eligible candidates.

A modern-era candidate – player or coach – must be retired for at least five consecutive seasons to be eligible for consideration.

The list of 113 nominees will be reduced to 25 semifinalists in late November. That semifinalist list will be reduced by a mail ballot to 15 in early January.

The Class of 2015 will be selected from the list of the 15 modern-era finalists plus the one senior finalist (former Minnesota Vikings center Mick Tingelhoff), and two yet-to-be-determined contributor finalists.

The voting for the Class of 2015 will be conducted at the Pro Football Hall of Fame Sselection Committee’s annual meeting, which will be held in Arizona on Saturday, Jan. 31, 2015, the day before Super Bowl XLIX. The results will be announced that evening.

The other first-year eligible candidates include quarterbacks Rich Gannon and Phil Simms; running backs Edgerrin James and Jamal Lewis; offensive lineman Jon Jansen, Kevin Mawae, Chris Samuels, Trae Thomas; defensive linemen Javon Kearse; defensive back Ty Law and Shawn Springs,
