One of Jerry Jones’ business dreams coming out of the University of Arkansas was to own an NFL team.
The San Diego Chargers, not the Dallas Cowboys.
Real Sports With Bryant Gumbel takes a look at the colorful Dallas Cowboys owner tonight at 9 on HBO.
Jones talks about a variety of subjects including the international love-them-or-hate-them fan approach to his team.
“I must tell you that the negative part of that isn't enough to keep me awake at night. There is no doubt, in 25 years with the Dallas Cowboys, that the criticism of me individually, the criticism of the franchise, the criticism of our activity, has enhanced not only the value, but the attractiveness of what we have done. Apathy would be my nightmare,” Jones tells HBO.
The Cowboys, who host Atlanta at AT&T Stadium Sunday, are 2-0 for the first time since 2008.
