Cowboys owner Jerry Jones doesn’t have a definitive timetable on when star receiver Dez Bryant will return to the field.
Jones acknowledged that a bone typically takes six weeks to heal, but wasn’t ready to rule out an earlier return for Bryant.
“Dez is, of course, Superman when it comes to being physical,” Jones said Tuesday on 105.3 The Fan. “On the other hand, we want it to repair well. We’ll just see how it goes.”
Jones said Bryant should begin conditioning work in two to three weeks after having successful surgery to repair the fifth metatarsal in his right foot on Monday.
