The 2026 NFL schedule is slowly trickling out, and the Dallas Cowboys have now learned their opponent for the annual Thanksgiving game.
On the Nov. 26 holiday, the Cowboys will welcome in the Philadelphia Eagles — making the tradition the fourth in the past five years that has featured an NFC East rival. It’s the first time the Eagles have played Dallas on Thanksgiving since 2014 when Philadelphia won 33-10. It’s just the third time in the 60-year tradition that the Eagles will travel to Dallas on Thanksgiving.
The game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and will be televised on Fox.
A win on Thanksgiving in 2026 would give the Cowboys their fifth consecutive win on the holiday, which would be the second-longest Turkey Day winning streak in franchise history. Dallas won seven straight from 1980 to 1986. The team’s all-time record on Thanksgiving is 35-22-1.
After winning the Super Bowl in the 2024 season, the Eagles repeated as NFC East division champions in 2025 but lost in the NFC wild-card playoffs to the San Francisco 49ers. Last season Dallas split its two matchups with the Eagles, losing the season opener in Philadelphia 24-20 and winning the home matchup 24-21 in Week 12.
The announcement serves as the third known game for the Cowboys in 2026. The full schedule will be announced at 7 p.m. Thursday.
