Packers star Micah Parsons says this Dallas Cowboy is an MVP candidate
Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons named his top three quarterbacks in the NFL, including a former teammate from the Dallas Cowboys.
Parsons said the top three are Dak Prescott, the Rams’ Matthew Stafford and Green Bay (Parson’s teammate) quarterback Jordan Love.
“I don’t think there’s, I mean besides Stafford, there’s a guy that’s playing better football [than Jordan Love] and Dak Prescott is playing really good too. Those three guys, I think are playing the best football in the league right now,” Parsons said.
The oddsmakers have Stafford as the betting favorite to be the NFL’s MVP this season, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, and Love sports the third-best odds.
Prescott has the 11th best odds, which probably have more to do with the Cowboys record (6-6-1) than his statistics; this season the Prescott has thrown for 3,637 yards with 26 touchdowns and 10 interceptions.
Prescott is top five in yards (1st), completions (1st) and touchdowns (T-2) but Stafford and Love have better odds to make the NFL playoffs.
