Cowboys wide receiver CeeDee Lamb helped off field, out for game vs. Lions
The Dallas Cowboys lost star wide receiver CeeDee Lamb to a concussion in the third quarter of their game against the Detroit Lions on Thursday at Ford Field in Detroit.
Lamb was extending to attempt to make a one-handed catch and fell hard, partly on his head, suffering what appeared to be a head injury and getting helped off the field.
Lamb appeared to show the fencing posture, when the arms are in an unnatural position where the forearms are often held in the air flexed or extended.
Lamb was ruled out of the game with a concussion, but told the trainer he didn’t need assistance when headed back to the locker room, according to the broadcast.
Lamb was having a strong game with six catches for 121 yards.
