Marshawn Kneeland scored his first NFL touchdown Monday when he recovered a blocked punt in the end zone in the Cowboys’ 27-17 loss to the Arizona Cardinals.

Kneeland, 24, died Wednesday night of a self-inflicted gunshot wound following a police chase on the Dallas North Tollway. He was in his second season with the team.

The Cowboys are on their bye week and will visit the Las Vegas Raiders on Nov. 17.
