Charles Barkley says Dallas Cowboys ‘can’t stop a bloody nose’
“Inside the NBA,” is appearing on ESPN after moving from TNT, and took a playful jab at the network on Thursday when they said the ESPN was contractually obligated to talk about up the Dallas Cowboys.
It started with host Ernie Johnson who said it was their second week on the network and joked that they hadn’t yet talked about the Cowboys.
Charles Barkley followed suit, while responding to Shaquille O’Neal telling him to stop talking trash about the Cowboys.
“They [are] contractually obligated to talk about the Cowboys every day, even though they defense can’t stop a bloody nose,” said Barkley, “Stop people from scoring, don’t trade your best defensive player then whine about that you can’t stop anybody.”
The Cowboys’ defense has been porous this season, ranking 31st overall in total defense while allowing the most passing yards (2,185) and touchdowns (20) in the NFL. They head into week 9 with a 3-4-1 record, yet still sit at second place in the division.
