NFL players released their list of top 100 players. Where did Dak Prescott rank?
Dak Prescott only played in eight games during the 2024 NFL season, but his peers still believe he’s one of the best players in the game, according to the NFL Top 100 list.
The list, voted on by NFL players, ranks the top 100 players in the league and has done so since the 2011 season.
Prescott was on the list for the sixth time in his nine-year career, coming in at No. 79, falling 63 spots from last season, where he landed at No. 16.
Philadelphia Eagles running back Will Shipley cited Prescott’s leadership and how hard he is to gameplan for opposing NFL coordinators.
“Everything that I’ve heard said is he is one of the best human beings that you can be around,” said Shipley, “ I think his ability to toss the football around and really just the fear he puts in defensive coordinators.”
Prescott was injured for most of the 2024 season, finishing the year with 1,978 yards with 11 touchdowns and eight interceptions before a torn hamstring against the Atlanta Falcons ended his year.
The quarterback was the first Dallas Cowboys player to appear on the list, but it seems unlikely to be the last, with Micah Parsons and CeeDee Lamb still waiting to be ranked.
