There’s a lot of optimism surrounding the Dallas Cowboys.

Now even the analytics agree. Sort of.

According to numberFire’s 2015 outlook on Dallas. The team has:

▪ Projected record of 8.5 to 7.5

▪ Division title probability of 31.1 percent

▪ Playoff probability of 48.4 percent

As for the overall forecast, numberFire's advanced algorithm shows only six-tenths of a win separates the projected third place team in the NFC East from the first.

The probability of winning the division title is as follows: Philadelphia (35.9 percent), Dallas (31.1), New York Giants (24.8) and Washington (8.2).

In 2014, the probability was as follows: Philadelphia (40 percent), New York Giants (22), Dallas (18.2) and Washington (17.8).
