Troy Aikman picks NFC East team to win Super Bowl

Former Dallas Cowboys quarterback Troy Aikman thinks this year’s team can end the franchise’s 30-year Super Bowl drought.

On Tuesday, May 13, Aikman was on Good Morning America when he proclaimed with his broadcasting partner, Joe Buck that the Cowboys are going to surprise the pundits.

When asked who they believed would win the Super Bowl, Aikman cited the Cowboys, and Buck picked the Buffalo Bills to win their first-ever title.

Former New York Giant great Michael Strahan was in the background and playfully chided Aikman for the selection.

The oddsmakers don’t agree with Aikman, with FanDuel Sportsbook giving the Cowboys the 18th-best odds to win the Super Bowl below teams like the Arizona Cardinals and the Chicago Bears.

FanDuel likes the Bills more, giving them the third-best odds to hoist the Lombardi Trophy.

After adding George Pickens, the Dallas Cowboys offense appears ready to be one of the league’s most potent passing attacks
