Cowboys add depth at linebacker
The Dallas Cowboys added more depth to their linebacker position Monday, signing Jonathan Brown and Ka’Lial Glaud.
Brown played at Illinois, and Glaud at Rutgers. To create roster spots for those two, the team waived/injured linebacker Justin Anderson (ankle) and guard Reshod Fortenberry (knee).
The Cowboys are short at in their linebacker corps with Rolando McClain (knee) and Mark Nzeocha (knee) sidelined as they recover from offseason surgeries.
In other linebacking news, the Cowboys announced rookie Damien Wilson will now wear No. 57 and Nzeocha will wear No. 53.
