Social media reacts to announcement of Brian Schottenheimer as the new Cowboys head coach

The Dallas Cowboys coaching search is over.

The Cowboys have hired Brian Schottenheimer to be the team’s next head coach, a source confirmed to the Star-Telegram’s Nick Harris on Friday night.

A news conference is expected to be held at 11 a.m. Monday at The Star in Frisco.

It will be Schottenheimer’s first time as head coach in the NFL but he has held various coaching postings in the league and college since the 1998 season.

Brian Schottenheimer is the son of a coaching legend. He’s been around the game his whole life. But yeah, I have questions. Seems like all Jerry Jones wants is just a loyal soldier who will just do as he’s told, which is ultimately the root of the problem here.
