Where will the Dallas Cowboys pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft?
With the regular season concluding and the Dallas Cowboys not making it into the NFL playoffs, they now know where they will pick in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft in April. For the fourth time in franchise history, they will select 12th in the first round.
With previous No. 12 selections, the Cowboys selected Micah Parsons in 2021, Alvin Harper in 1991 and Danny Noonan in 1987. Here is the order in front of the Cowboys in the first round, as of the end of the regular season:
No. 1 - Tennessee Titans
No. 2 - Cleveland Browns
No. 3 - New York Giants
No. 4 - New England Patriots
No. 5 - Jacksonville Jaguars
No. 6 - Las Vegas Raiders
No. 7 - Carolina Panthers
No. 8 - New York Jets
No. 9 - New Orleans Saints
No. 10 - Chicago Bears
No. 11 - San Francisco 49ers
No. 12 - Dallas Cowboys
The Cowboys own six picks in the draft and are expected to be awarded with four to five compensatory selections based on free agent departures from a season ago. Compensatory selections will be finalized in the coming weeks. The known selections are at No. 12 (first round), No. 34 (second round), No. 76 (third round), No. 148 (fifth round), No. 186 (sixth round) and No. 228 (seventh round pick acquired from Carolina in Jonathan Mingo trade).
