Dallas Cowboys

Dallas Cowboys opponents for 2025 announced, as Chiefs, Packers will return to Arlington

While the 2024 season is officially in the rear-view mirror for the Dallas Cowboys after Sunday’s season finale loss to the Washington Commanders, the opponents for the 2025 season have been finalized for the Cowboys heading into the offseason.

The Cowboys will have eight home games and nine road games as they will feature an extra road game in 2025 after having the extra home game in 2024.

At home in Arlington at AT&T Stadium, the Cowboys will host the Kansas City Chiefs, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Chargers, Minnesota Vikings, Arizona Cardinals, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Washington Commanders.

On the road, the Cowboys will travel to take on the Chicago Bears, Las Vegas Raiders, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Carolina Panthers, New York Jets, Philadelphia Eagles, New York Giants and Washington Commanders.

It will be the Cowboys’ first regular season trip to Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, although they first played the Raiders in Sin City in the 2024 preseason. It will be the team’s first trip to Chicago and Detroit since the 2019 season. The trip to Denver will be the Cowboys’ first regular season trip to the Mile High City since 2017. The road game in Carolina will be the team’s third consecutive season visiting Bank of America Stadium.

The schedule fulfills the NFL algorithm of playing each division from the opposing conference every fourth year, with alternating home and away games with each rotation. In 2025, the NFC East will face off against the AFC West (Chiefs, Raiders, Chargers, Broncos). The schedule also includes a rotation of playing against a division within the same conference. For the Cowboys, the NFC North (Vikings, Packers, Lions, Bears) is up in 2025.

For the remaining divisions in the NFC and for one division in the AFC, the Cowboys -- third-place finishers in the NFC East in 2024 -- will face off against the third-place teams in the NFC South (Carolina Panthers), NFC West (Arizona Cardinals) and the AFC East (New York Jets).

The official schedule that will determine when the Cowboys play each of their 14 opponents in 2025 will be released in May by the NFL.
