Dallas Cowboys listed as most valuable franchise in sports. How much is the team worth?
Forbes came out with the 2024 edition of ‘The World’s 50 Most Valuable Sports Teams,’ and the Dallas Cowboys topped the list for the ninth year in a row with a valuation of $10.1 billion, $1.32 billion more than the Golden State Warriors who hold second place.
The Cowboys are the first team in the list’s history to top $10 billion in value.
Of the top ten most valuable franchises five are from the NFL, four are from the NBA and one MLB team makes an appearance.
The NFL dominated the list with 58% of the top 50 teams and the NBA, with 24%, had the second-highest percentage of teams on the list.

1. Dallas Cowboys: $10.1 billion
2. Golden State Warriors: $8.8 billion
3. Los Angeles Rams: $7.6 billion
4. New York Yankees: $7.55 billion
5. New York Knicks: $7.5 billion
6. New England Patriots: $7.4 billion
7. New York Giants: $7.3 billion
8. Los Angeles Lakers: $7.1 billion
9. New York Jets: $6.9 billion
10. San Francisco 49ers: $6.8 billion
The Cowboys weren’t the only Metroplex team to appear on the list with the Dallas Mavericks coming in at No. 42 with a $4.7 billion valuation.
