Dallas Cowboys tight end questionable to return in season opener against Cleveland Browns

Dallas Cowboys tight end Jake Ferguson headed to the locker room with 6:23 left in the third quarter of the team’s season opener against the Cleveland Browns.

Ferguson appeared injured after being tackled following a two-yard catch from Dak Prescott and walked off the field with assistance to the locker room.

Ferguson was listed as questionable to return with a knee injury.

If the three-year veteran is out for an extended period of time, 2023 second-round draft pick Luke Schoonmaker is next up on the depth chart for the Cowboys followed by Brevyn Spann-Ford.
