What’s a pizza burger? Dallas Cowboys unveil 23 new foods at AT&T Stadium this season
Dallas Cowboys fans will have plenty of new food to try at AT&T Stadium this season, including a pizza burger.
Legends Hospitality unveiled a slew of new culinary delights for the Cowboys upcoming season at their Arlington home.
Their first game is Sept. 8 at Cleveland and the Cowboys first home game is the following week, Sept. 15 against the New Orleans Saints.
Executive chef Marcelo Vasquez, concessions chef Heather Fuller and George Wasai, food and beverage vice president with Legends were on hand at AT&T Stadium to introduce the new items Tuesday.
At every Cowboys game, the Legends customer service team takes fan surveys on items they would like to see, Fuller said. One comment that kept coming back was more vegan and vegetation options, which the team took to heart this season.
“We look at those surveys, we take all of your comments into consideration,” Fuller said.
Hearty burgers, tasty flatbreads and unique combinations make up the crop of 23 new items available at AT&T Stadium this season. The new food will make its debut at Saturday’s final preseason game in which the Cowboys will play the Chargers.
Here’s what’s cooking:
Pizza burger
- Available at: Papa John’s stands in sections 201 and 226
The pizza burger takes a 16-ounce beef patty and sandwiches it between two pepperoni pizzas. Lettuce, tomato, marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese top the burger.
Wagyu truffle burger
- Available at: Hall of Fame southeast and southwest concessions stands
A wagyu beef patty is topped with truffle aioli, fried onions, Havarti cheese and arugula on a brioche bun.
Honey bourbon steak sandwich
- Available at: Hall of Fame southeast and southwest concessions stands
Honey bourbon marinated steak tips are topped with provolone, argula and Dijon mustard onions on a roll.
Tequila-lime chicken sandwich
Available at: Hall of Fame southeast and southwest concessions stands
Grilled chicken is marinated in tequila, lime and other spices and grilled. The chicken is topped with pepper-jack cheese, lettuce, tomato and bacon on a brioche bun.
Churro waffle
Available at: Hall of Fame southeast and southwest concessions stands
A waffle is tossed with cinnamon and sugar, drizzled with caramel sauce and finished with whipped cream.
Oops! All Berries waffle

A waffle is drizzled with berry syrup and topped with whipped cream and Cap’n Crunch’s Oops! All Berries cereal.
Sausage and red pepper flatbread
Available at: Hall of Fame southeast and southwest snack stands
Flatbread is topped with mozzarella cheese, spicy Italian sausage and roasted red peppers.
Buffalo chicken and bacon flatbread

Flatbread is topped with buffalo sauce, mozzarella cheese, grilled chicken and bacon.
Quattro formaggio flatbread

Flatbread is topped with four cheeses: shredded mozzarella, fresh mozzarella, fontina and Parmesan.
Buffalo chicken empanadas

Buffalo chicken is stuffed into empanadas and topped with buffalo ranch dressing and green onions. Served with fries.
Flamin’ Hot Fritos tacos

Ground beef tacos are topped with charred red salsa, queso fresco, pico de gallo and Flamin’ Hot Fritos.
Fritos sundae
- Available at: Pepsi fan deck on upper concourse and in main concourse sections 219 and 245
A bed of Fritos is topped with vanilla ice cream, cinnamon, caramel and chocolate syrups, sprinkles and a maraschino cherry.
Ruffles buffalo chicken sandwich

A fried buffalo chicken sandwich is topped with lettuce, tomato and Flamin’ Hot BBQ Ruffles on a bun.
Steak fajita wrap

A tortilla is stuffed with marinated fajita steak, avocado, black bean corn relish, roasted poblano and red peppers.
Cranberry-pecan chicken salad sandwich

Vegan Tostitos ultimate nachos

The plant-based version of the Cowboys best selling fan-favorite dish. Tostitos chips are topped with vegan nacho cheese, plant-based chili, pico de gallo and jalapeños.
Vegan hot dog and chili dog

Vegan hot dogs are served on vegan buns and can be topped with vegan chili.
Vegan barbecue sandwich
- Available at: Upper concourse sections 411 and 441
Plant-based shredded barbecue is tossed in barbecue sauce and served on a vegan bun.
