What does former Dallas coach Jimmy Johnson think of the Cowboys’ new offense?
Former Dallas Cowboys coach Jimmy Johnson likes what this season’s Cowboys team is doing with its new offense.
On the ‘FOX NFL Kickoff’ show on Sunday, Johnson explained why he likes the Cowboys’ Texas Coast offense, implemented during the offseason.
“Mike McCarthy got them in rhythm, he’s got Dak (Prescott) throwing the ball in rhythm,” Johnson said.
“It’s not going to be where he has to improvise and start looking for receivers and throwing interceptions. He is getting the ball out quick. Mike McCarthy has been a real key. He understands how good that defense is, just don’t turn the ball over. “
Prescott, who led the NFL with 15 interceptions in 2022, has not thrown an interception in the Cowboys’ first two games. Dallas has outscored their first two opponents, 70-10.
