Dallas Cowboys

Which Dallas Cowboy did NFL executives pick as the best defensive player in the NFL?

The Atheltic’s Jeff Howe conducted a survey of NFL coaches, executives and general managers and asked them who the best players in the NFL were and how they expected teams to perform.

Those surveyed were high on Micah Parsons who they selected as the best defensive player in the NFL by a large margin.

The top four players selected were Micah Parsons, Nick Bosa, Aaron Donald and T.J. Watt.

Parsons had almost double the votes that second-place, and reigning Defensive Player of the Year, Nick Bosa received.

However, executives polled are wary of the Dallas Cowboys’ potential for the upcoming season.

The Cowboys tied for the No. 1 spot with the Green Bay Packers and the San Francisco 49ers on the list of teams that would surprise people in a bad way during the upcoming season.

The Cowboys are expected to be a top team in the league with FanDuel giving them the sixth-best odds to win the Super Bowl.

The Cowboys will kick off their season at 7:20 on Sunday at MetLife Stadium
