Ex-Dallas Cowboy Terrell Owens was speaking on his podcast “Getcha Popcorn Ready,” with Andre Reed where the two NFL Hall of Famers discussed who should be inducted into the HOF.

Owens said former Cowboy Darren Woodson should be in the Hall of Fame over John Lynch. Lynch was inducted in the Class of 2021.

“I’m thinking about a guy like Darren Woodson that’s not in the Hall of Fame but John Lynch is,” said Owens. “ How in the hell do you quantify that.”

Owens said he never feared Lynch but always watched out for Woodson during his career.

Woodson has been eligible for the HOF since 2008 and was a finalist in the Class of 2023 before being passed over.

Over his 12-year NFL career, all with the Cowboys, Woodson amassed three Super Bowl championships, four NFL All-Pro first-team selections and five Pro Bowl selections.

Woodson was inducted into the Cowboys Ring of Honor in 2015 and was the second defensive player inducted from the iconic 90’s Cowboys championship teams.
