Dak Prescott hears boos at Super Bowl while being honored as Walter Payton Man of the Year

Before Super Bowl LVII, Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott was honored for winning the Walter Payton Man of the Year Award. The award is given annually for outstanding community service and outreach.

While accepting his award Prescott was booed vociferously by the crowd.

That is because the crowd was overwhelmingly Philadelphia Eagles fans who would not miss an opportunity to boo their rival team’s quarterback despite Prescott’s reason for being honored.

Prescott seemed to mouth “Philly fans” while smiling and accepting his award.
