Cowboys fans fed up on social media after Cowboys fall to 49ers

The Dallas Cowboys season has come to an end with a 19-12 loss against the San Francisco 49ers.

The Cowboys offense struggled to move the ball consistently against the 49ers defense.

With the loss, the Cowboys have now gone almost 30 years without making an NFC Championship game or Super Bowl appearance.

Multiple things can be true, and there are a lot of true things from this Cowboys season that are positive.

But falling short to the same team in the same un-prepared way (in the overall) is such a bitter pill to swallow.

They had their chance. They blew it. It is on them.

Two things:

That’s really not the organizational standard. Almost half their franchise history they have been this team. This is who they are.

Those 28 years have seen many, many players. Several head coaches. Multiple offensive and defensive schemes.

If you squint, you can see a world where Dallas wins this game. Dan Quinn certainly had the defensive game plan in place.

Dak Prescott wasn't good enough, losing Tony Pollard didn't help, & there were 2-3 brutal breaks. The Diggs drop & Turpin return come to mind.

I've been a Dak truther since his rookie season so it pains me to say this but with league average QB play the Cowboys probably win this game and unfortunately he was much worse than that tonight
