Cooper Rush is 2-0 as a starter this season for the Dallas Cowboys. After beating the New York Giants 23-16 on Monday Night Football, the Cowboys return home to play another NFC East rival.

There was a day when Dallas-Washington was the biggest rivalry in football.

Not anymore.

Will Dak Prescott’s surgically repaired thumb be OK for him to return on Sunday? The bet here is that he sits one more week and returns against the Los Angeles Rams on Oct. 9.

Why? Because the Commanders are dreadful. They lost 24-8 to Philadelphia on Sunday. Their offensive line was a big problem. With that in mind, expect Micah Parsons and company to have their way on the Commanders this week.
