Dallas Cowboys fans celebrated a win before the team even kicked off against the Washington Football Team Sunday night.

The Cowboys clinched this season’s NFC East title when the Las Vegas Raiders beat the Denver Broncos earlier Sunday by virtue of a strength-of-victory tiebreaker with the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cowboys (10-4), who will host at least one playoff game at AT&T Stadium, are still hoping to improve their seeding in the NFC with three games remaining, including Sunday night’s game against Washington.

The Cowboys Pro Shop was quick to promote the NFC East title on social media with new merchandise and most fans were happy to celebrate, but all had grander goals in mind.

The Cowboys last made the playoffs in 2018. The last time they advanced to the NFC Championship was in January 1996, the same season they won the Super Bowl.
