WR Michael Gallup making return vs. Falcons, expect Dallas Cowboys offensive outburst

Dallas Cowboys receiver Michael Gallup will play against the Atlanta Falcons Sunday after being sidelined since the season opener with a calf strain and missing the last seven games.

With Gallup back in the fold, the Cowboys will suit up six receivers against the Falcons, including Amari Cooper, CeeDee Lamb, Cedrick Wilson, Noah Brown, Malik Turner and Gallup.

Coach Mike McCarthy they will rotate the receivers in certain packages as the the Cowboys look to get the offense back on track following last Sunday’s 30-16 debacle against the Denver Broncos.

It snapped a streak of eight straight home games with Dak Prescott at quarterback that the Cowboys failed to score at least 35 points.

The good news is that Prescott usually bounces back strong after a loss.

Since coming into the league in 2016, Prescott has an 18-9 record after a loss with 40 touchdowns, 15 interceptions and a 99.9 quarterback rating in those games.
