Cowboys player called out for ‘one of the dirtiest plays I’ve seen’ against Seahawks

Dallas Cowboys defensive lineman Trysten Hill was called out on social media after Seattle Seahawks running back Chris Carson was injured late in Sunday’s game.

Hill rolled over the player while holding onto Carson’s lower body after making a tackle during the Cowboys’ 38-31 loss at CenturyLink Field. Carson had to leave the game with a knee injury after the play. It came on Seattle’s game-winning drive late in the fourth quarter.

Some argued that Hill’s momentum forced the roll. Perhaps. But once the tackle had been made it appeared that he could have released his grasp.

Hill was also flagged for a roughing the passer on the Seahawks’ two-point attempt on their game-winning score with just under two minutes remaining. The pass failed, but thanks to the penalty, Russell Wilson converted the second try to extend Seattle’s lead from five points to seven points.
