Pro Bowl LT Tyron Smith inactive again, DeMarcus Lawrence will play for Dallas Cowboys
The Dallas Cowboys will play without left tackle Tyron Smth for a second straight game due to a neck injury.
Smith was one of six players made inactive for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks.
The others were quarterback Ben DiNucci, cornerback Reggie Robinson, linebacker Rashad Smith, offensive lineman Alex Light and defensive tackle Neville Gallimore.
Look for Terence Steele and Brandon Knight to start again at the tackle spots as they did last week against the Falcons with right tackle La’el Collins still on injured reserve for at least one more game.
The good news for the Cowboys is that defensive end DeMarcus Lawrence, who was listed as questionable for game with a knee injury, will play against the Seahawks.
The Cowboys need Lawrence and the team’s disappointing pass rush to show some signs of life and try to help contain Seattle quarterback Russell Wilson.
Cornerback Chido Awuzie was officially placed on injured reserve Saturday and the Cowboys signed Saivion Smith to the active roster.
Daryl Worley will likely get the start at cornerback in place of Awuzie opposite rookie Trevon Diggs.
