Woman says Cowboys’ Ezekiel Elliott’s dogs attacked her in lawsuit. His lawyer disagrees
A pool cleaner who said she was attacked by Ezekiel Elliott’s three dogs is suing the Dallas Cowboys running back.
The lawsuit, which was obtainedby KDFW, said that the dog “ambush” occurred on March 11 as she was cleaning Elliott’s pool in at his home in Frisco, Texas. The woman went to the emergency room in “immense pain after suffering multiple bites” by Elliott’s Rottweiler and two bulldogs, the lawsuit says.
The woman is seekingat least $200,000 “but not more than $1 million” to cover the cost of her medical expenses, the lawsuit states, according to KDFW.
Elliott’s attorney, Frank Salzano, told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram that Elliott is “in no way negligent in connection with the alleged incident and intends to vigorously defend the lawsuit.”
Elliott composed a series of tweets on Friday afternoon after a woman with the handle @mamahailz tweeted: “Devin used to clean Ezekiel Elliott’s pool (a Dallas Cowboys football player) & someone just told me his new pool tech was mauled by his 3 dogs and is now suing for $200,000 and my first thought was ‘wish it would have happened to Devin.’”
Elliott’s response: “Sad that people would rather sue and try to take someone’s money than respectfully go earn their money. People are a joke. Mam you are sad,” the running back, who is currently recovering from COVID-19 said.
“Who says stuff like that?” Zeke continued.
“I just can’t believe she just tweeted that lol” he finished off with.
Elliott created an Instagram account for his three dogs and even has a tattoo of his Rottweiler on his forearm.
