‘Freaking trash.’ NFL players rip their own after 500 fail to vote on narrowly passed CBA
NFL players voted to confirm a new collective bargaining agreement early Sunday morning and many current and former players aren’t happy.
The agreement, which will run through 2030, narrowly passed by just 60 votes. But approximately 500 players, according to multiple reports, did not vote. That left many who did hopping mad and lashing out with on social media.
Chicago Bears receiver Allen Robinson was succinct with his disdain for the deal and/or the failure of so many fellow players to cast a vote.
Trash, freaking trash

This CBA was shortsighted and constructed to benefit the players who made the majority of the league. Yes minimum salary was raised but at the cost of the players who paved the way physically/psychologically just to be short changed w/o a voice to defend their benefits. Sad

The league doesn’t care at all. It’s reducing financial liability for them

They voted out of fear. That’s it. Just fear.

500+ voices.. 500+ opinions... hella disappointing. Couldn’t even vote on your own future. Can’t even comprehend it...

If you are one of the guys who didn’t vote on the new CBA... shame on you. Not mad, disappointed.

If you're one of the 500 NFL player dumbasses too sorry & uninformed about your own damn livelihood to vote on the new CBA you should be slapped repeatedly.....

500 players did not vote ... 500!#CBA

It kills me that guys who have shown little to no interest in the negotiations of this CBA wait till final offer is on table & votes are being counted to come out and talk about how bad it is or what needs to be changed. You have had AMPLE time to get voice heard and get involved

If you didn’t vote on the new CBA you have a problem. The one time we get any type of say and you decide not to #nflcba

Congrats to the @NFL for passing the new CBA. I’m glad players get another week of recovery & can use natural products such as @cbdmedic_pharma as part of their treatment. pic.twitter.com/WMSbfZJ33l

For those wanting FACTS why this CBA deal was DISASTER, read this memo from my lawyers. Remember, we were sent the email to vote on the new CBA proposal on 3/5. I posted the memo on 3/9. 2 hours later @NFLPA sent comparison of this CBA to last CBA to members for the first time! pic.twitter.com/k7CxDCJmE1
