Dallas Cowboys will be without Tyron Smith, other key starters against Washington Redskins

The Dallas Cowboys will be without left tackle Tyron Smith against the Washington Redskins today.

Smith, who is out with an injured back, hasn’t played more than 13 games the past four seasons.

Dak Prescott, who is playing with an injured right throwing shoulder, will be protected by left tackles Cam Fleming and Joe Looney.

The Cowboys will also not have cornerback Byron Jones, who injured an ankle during practice on Christmas Day.

Defensive tackle Antwaun Woods, linebacker Joe Thomas and defensive end Joe Jackson will also not be available today for the defense. Other Cowboys inactive today include receiver Devin Smith, tackle Wyatt Miller.

Dallas signed cornerback Donovan Olumba off the practice squad for depth.
