Cowboys’ receiver likely sidelined against Redskins with injury
Dallas Cowboys’ wide receiver Tavon Austin is unlikely to be available this week against the Washington Redskins, according to coach Jason Garrett.
“He might need a little bit of time,” Garret said. Austin injured his groin Sunday afternoon against the Jacksonville Jaguars. He had one catch for five yards before leaving the game. He has seven receptions for 130 yards and two touchdowns this season. Dallas has a bye the following week.
Cole Beasley will return punts in place of Austin.
