The Cowboys owned the Jaguars. Here’s why some fans are still furious about the win
The Dallas Cowboys earned a big 40-7 win over the Jacksonville Jaguars at AT&T Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
Quarterback Dak Prescott threw two touchdown passes, wide receiver Cole Beasley caught two and the defense held the Jaguars to seven points.
And head coach Jason Garrett can likely breathe a little bit easier.
After the Cowboys’ 19-16 OT loss in overtime last week, one oddsmaker even listed the Garrett is the most likely NFL head coach to get fired in the middle of the season.
All week, many media members and fans expressed their desire that Jerry Jones fire him. But the owner defended his head coach.
And despite the Cowboys’ victory on Sunday, some of those doubters have not changed their minds.
