One of the Dallas Cowboys' fiercest NFC East rivals is now dealing with what could be a serious situation with one of their top players.

Police told ESPN's Dianna Russini on Tuesday that they are investigating the discovery of a body at the home of New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins. The home is located in Fair Lawn, N.J.

Sources also told ESPN that law enforcement officials are treating the situation as a homicide.

The report stated that the Giants "are aware of and monitoring the situation."
