Dallas Cowboys' quarterback is promoting a new shirt to help raise money to fight cancer.

His mother, Peggy, died from colon cancer in November 2013 and Prescott's Faith Fight Finish Foundation is based on the three words of encouragement she often spoke. The shirts are available at dakprescott4.com.

"I want to honor my mom by doing my part to fight cancer," Prescott posted on Twitter Friday afternoon. "This shirt was created to show support to all mothers that we are in this fight together."

All proceeds go towards Prescott's foundation and the Stand Up To Cancer Foundation.

On Prescott's web site, the inspiration and motivation is explained.

"Losing my mom and watching her fight motivated me. As much as I can raise awareness and educate people on how to get ahead of cancer, showing how to make your adversity your inspiration is probably the most significant goal," Prescott said.

"It's about how to face adversity and use it to make you a better person, to think positively and take the better path because of it."

NFL analyst and long-time quarterback Ron Jaworski blamed the Dallas Cowboys offensive line, receivers and opposing defenses for Dak Prescott's down year.
