Dallas Cowboys quarterback Dak Prescott injured his hand in the first half of the Washington Redskins game and went to the locker room to be evaluated.

But Prescott returned shortly after and did not miss any snaps in the game. Backup Cooper Rush likely would have gotten action had returner Ryan Switzer not returned a punt for a touchdown in the second quarter.

That touchdown bought enough time for Prescott to return to the sidelines and not miss any offensive snaps. Prescott appeared to have injured his hand on an option play.

Prescott completed five of his first 10 passes for 28 yards, including an 8-yard touchdown pass to Jason Witten. Prescott had gone 13 quarters without a touchdown pass.

Prescott also had three carries for 17 yards.
