Fed up with Jason Garrett? Sign here
Fed up with the Dallas Cowboys? Does their 5-6 and three-game losing streak make you want to curse the dog, mutter maniacally and pull your hair out?
If so, you’re probably at least a tad bit ticked off with head coach Jason Garrett.
Relax. I’ve got the perfect outlet for all that frustration.
Thanks to Darrell Knouse, of Wichita Falls, you can now sign a petition on change.org to publicly voice your displeasure with the Cowboys and specifically Garrett. He created the “Fire Jason Garrett” petition on Saturday after watching his beloved Cowboys take it on the chin for the third consecutive week.
“Week after week the Dallas Cowboys get out coached,” Knouse writes in his petition declaration. “The coaching staff never makes adjustments during the game nor do they at half time. Who else is tired of watching this ginger stand and clap after every bad call or sit there with a smile on his face while the team gets destroyed.”
OK, no need for the name-calling, especially when it’s hair-related. But Knouse may have touched on something that many Cowboys fans are feeling. The petition already has 855 signatures as of 11:15 a.m. Monday.
Does any of it matter? Of course not. But if you’re a disenfranchised Cowboys fan who thinks Coach Robot needs a new operating system, perhaps you make your voice heard.
Wait ... is that name-calling? Eh, never mind.
