Cowboys’ Cole Beasley snags play of the night on circus catch
Cowboys receiver Cole Beasley pulled off the play of the night Sunday at AT&T Stadium.
Beasley — some how, some way — was able to catch a pass from Dak Prescott on an out route by trapping the ball against the top of his shoulder pads just above his nameplate on the back of his jersey. He kept his feet in bounds for a seven-yard gain.

The catch came during a drive early in the fourth quarter with the Cowboys in command 16-3.
“It could have been an easy catch but [Jason] Witten broke hot so I wasn’t looking for the ball at first,” said Beasley, who finished with five catches for 32 yards. “But I could tell the ball hadn’t been thrown so I looked back, actually later than I should, so it was almost bad. I’m glad it turned out the way it did.”

Images and video of the catch quickly spread across social media as fans weighed in on the amazing catch.
After making the catch Beasley stoically walked back to the huddle as if nothing amazing just happened. Perhaps he didn’t realize what he had just done on national television?
“I didn’t plan it but I expect to catch anything that touches my hand so any time I catch it I shouldn’t have an expression on my face like I was surprised I caught it,” he said.
