Cowboys CB Anthony Brown injures hamstring in Hall of Fame game
The Dallas Cowboys couldn’t get through the first half without one of their key players exiting with an injury.
Cornerback Anthony Brown exited with a hamstring injury in the first quarter. He started the game and lasted two series, notably getting beat on a 35-yard pass from Cardinals quarterback Blaine Gabbert to Brittan Golden. Brown whiffed when he tried to make a play on the ball.
Brown is the second cornerback to go down with a hamstring injury early on in camp. Rookie Jourdan Lewis has also been sidelined with a hamstring injury.
Brown, a 2016 sixth-round pick, started nine games as a rookie. He finished with 56 tackles, eight deflections and an interception.
