Tyrone Crawford earned the team’s 2014 Ed Block Courage Award, which was voted on by teammates.

The award honors NFL players who exemplify commitments to the principles of sportsmanship and courage. Crawford and the other 31 recipients will be honored Monday night in Baltimore.

Crawford ruptured his Achilles’ tendon during training camp in 2013 and missed the entire season. He returned to the field last season and found a home at defensive tackle, starting 16 games and finishing second on the Cowboys with 29 pressures and four tackles for loss. He also had three sacks and 37 tackles.
