Dallas Cowboys play in Twitter game against Vikings Thursday
The Dallas Cowboys (10-1) will get their turn on Twitter Thursday night when they visit the Minnesota Vikings (6-5).
Kickoff is 7:25 p.m.
Twitter, NBC and NFL Network will broadcast the Cowboys-Vikings game Thursday night.
NFL Network, CBS, NBC and Twitter announced before the season began that they will collaborate on some of the coverage on Thursday Night Football games.
This is the first season of a new streaming partnership with Twitter.
Twitter is streamlining the 10 Thursday Night Football games broadcast by CBS and NBC and simulcast by NFL Network.
Twitter is providing free, live streaming video without authentication to more than 800 million registered and non-registered users worldwide on the Twitter platform on mobile phones, tablets, PCs and connected TVs. The Twitter partnership includes in-game highlights from Thursday Night Football and unique Periscope live streams.
Grammy Award-winning and multi-platinum recording artist Pentatonix of Arlington will perform the Thursday Night Football show open.
The Cowboys can clinch a playoff spot this weekend if they beat the Vikings and have Tampa Bay lose or tie or a Washington loss. On Sunday, Tampa Bay (6-5) plays at San Diego (5-6) and Washington (6-4-1) is at Arizona (4-6-1).
