Grammy-award winning country music star Eric Church will perform during halftime of the Dallas Cowboys Thanksgiving Day game against Washington at AT&T Stadium.

Cowboys owner Jerry Jones and his family have a longstanding passion for and commitment to The Salvation Army. Executive vice president and chief brand officer Charlotte Jones Anderson served as the chair of The Salvation Army’s national advisory board, the first woman to hold that title, from 2010 to 2014.
The annual halftime show serves as the kickoff for The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign. Thursday marks the 20th year that the Cowboys have partnered with The Salvation Army on the campaign, which raises millions of dollars throughout the holiday season.
Donations help provide meals and shelter for families and Christmas toys for millions of children, in addition to numerous other social service programs The Salvation Army provides year-round, such as substance-abuse programs, shelter and counseling for victims of domestic violence, and military veteran assistance.
The Red Kettle Campaign runs through Christmas Eve and is the largest and longest-running fundraiser of its kind. It raised $149.6 million during the 2015 campaign.
Past halftime performers include Luke Bryan, Selena Gomez, Kenny Chesney, Kelly Clarkson, Destiny’s Child, Randy Travis, and Reba McEntire.
